Weekly Round up (week 1)
Bridlington Town started off the season with a respectable draw away to Thackley. Wallace having to grab an equalizer for the seasiders just before half time after they fell behind to an early goal from McClean. Promotion favourites Farsley hit the ground running as the showed early signs of walking the league with an 8-2 win over Arnold. Elsewhere Scarborough Athletic hit the ground with their arse but luckily for the Seadogs Scot Phillips helped them bounce back up to earn a lucky 2-2 draw against a far better Lincoln Moorlans side, who will feel they were hard done by not to get all 3 points. Last season title contenders Armthorpe had a better start to the season as they strung together a rather convincing 5-0 win over Liversedge and NCELPremier new boys, Tadcaster, were involved in a rather exciting 3-3 introduction to this divison
